Last Wednesday was quite the day! As part of our whirlwind spot over in the USA, we were invited by the Brigham Young University performance/music business club Footlights to play a full set at their Semester Kick Off event. The main bulk of the evening was awe-inspiring, as the eager crowd learned at the feet of guest speaker Robert Reynolds, author, manager of The Killers, lawyer for Imagine Dragons etc. The words were edifying, and the room's energy was electric!
After Robert's address, the music began. We played an up-tempo set, packed with mostly new material for one of the best crowds we've ever had the pleasure of experiencing. Mitch Cizmas, local guitar player and budding music historian filled in on backing guitar as I (Colin) yelped and strummed. The set we played was:
Sleepwalker, Cathedral, Secrets, Machines (Biffy Clyro cover), Lost Boys, Circles, Smile Again
